Pennsylvania gaming revenue up 11.4% in July 2025, iGaming rises 30.9%

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) reported total gaming revenue of $557.7 million for July 2025. This is an 11.4% increase from last year. Growth was driven by iGaming, which generated $228.2m, up 30.9%.

Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course topped the market with $103.4 million in total revenue. This is the highest among all reporting properties. It earned $87.8 million from iGaming, which is a 37.2% increase.

Valley Forge Casino Resort followed with $88.8m, up 19.2%, while Rivers Casino Philadelphia posted $57.5m, a 16.6% increase. Both properties also reported strong online revenue, with Valley Forge generating $61.2m (+34.1%) and Rivers Philadelphia $37.8m (+26.6%).

Slot machine revenue rose 2.1% to $208.5m. Parx Casino led the category with $30.9m, posting only a modest gain of $300,000 compared with July 2024. Wind Creek Bethlehem saw its slot revenue decline 3.8% to $23m, while Rivers Casino Pittsburgh grew 2.7% to $22.6m.

Sports wagering revenue totalled $40.6m, down 0.5%, on a handle of $412.5m. Valley Forge made $15.5 million from $140.9 million in bets. Hollywood Casino at the Meadows reported $11.3 million from $112.3 million in betting.

Good to know: On June 25, the PGCB added 15 people to its exclusion lists. This includes three adults who left minors alone while gambling at Pennsylvania casinos

In addition to July’s revenue results, the PGCB renewed

the licenses for Presque Isle Downs and Hollywood Casino Morgantown. The board also revoked gambling privileges for 18 individuals in connection with various penalties.

In June 2025, Pennsylvania recorded $544.7m in gaming revenue, a 15.4% increase. iGaming revenue climbed 32.3% to $212.6m, while sports wagering grew 71.4% to $51.2m.
